JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Fake It and You'll Forsake It

In my honest opinion, there is no such thing as "Fake it until you make it". Fake is fake and real is real. Heaven is real and Hell is real.

I pray that today that we realize that when we Fake we bake; when we Sin we can't win; when we Lie we die; when we turn we burn.

God is real and apart from Him there is nothing. You can continue to Fake it, BUT I'm here to tell YOU, that if you Fake it, you'll never make it.

As surely as I live, says the Sovereign lord , I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live. Turn! Turn from your wickedness, O people of Israel! Why should you die? (Ezekiel 33:11 NLT)

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Modern Day Idolatry

What is an example of Modern Day Idolatry? Well, to put it simply it is that attention to self. In the Bible we see others bowing down to man-made images and we quickly convince ourselves that we don't do such things, but we forget about how obsessed we are with ourselves and the amount of possessions that we have.

Don't believe that we have fallen asleep and have been overcome by idolatry? Look in your closets, attics, garages...they are filled with the "I got to have it" items of yesterday, yet we are still plotting and planning how we will obtain that latest gadget or newest item in the marketplace.

We worship at the altar of our own pride and ego. This often takes the form of obsession with careers and jobs. Most of us spend 60-80 hours a week working...even on the weekends and during vacations. Our laptops, iPad and smartphones never stop and our minds are in full motion with thoughts of how to make our life more successful, how to get that promotion, how to get the next raise and how to close the next deal. In the meantime, our children are starving for attention and love. We fool ourselves into thinking we are doing it for them, to give them a better life. But the truth is we are doing it for ourselves, to increase our self-esteem by appearing more successful in the eyes of the world.

This is folly. All our labors and accomplishments will be of no use to us after we die, nor will the admiration of the world, because these things have no eternal value.

As King Solomon put it, "For a man may do his work with wisdom, knowledge and skill, and then he must leave all he owns to someone who has not worked for it. This too is meaningless and a great misfortune. What does a man get for all the toil and anxious striving with which he labors under the sun? All his days his work is pain and grief; even at night his mind does not rest. This too is meaningless" (Ecclesiastes 2:21-23).

I shared all of this to SHOUT that starting this Friday, I'm on vacation! I will totally unplug...leaving behind the iPad, Laptop and BlackBerry! My wife doesn't think that I can do it, but after reading and listening to the above passage of Scripture, not only can I do it, I must do it. God has given me too much love (wife, children and His creation), to let it all pass me by. Time to pay attention to what truly matters.

Have a great Monday!

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Do Ya Know Jesus?

Jesus, the creator. Jesus, the creative. Jesus, the creation. Jesus, Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Jesus, the Author and the Finisher of our faith. Jesus, the Messiah, Prophet, High Priest and King. Jesus, the Perfect Sacrifice and Jesus, the Savior.

Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? (John 14:9a NKJV)

Read that verse once more, except this time insert YOUR name instead of the name Philip.

Today would be a good day to get to know Jesus. Today would be a great day to open both your eyes and your heart...ALL OF YOUR LIFE HE'S BEEN RIGHT THERE WITH YOU, BUT YOU HAVE NOT KNOWN HIM.

Today, Jesus says "Hello" once more, He needs for you to acknowledge Him by simply saying hello back. He'll carry on the conversation from there and OH MY GOD, what a conversation it shall be!

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Live God's Way

Being a follower of God demands that we live our lives according to His commands and to His decrees. For instance, love one another. Forgive one another just as your Father in heaven has forgiven you. Don't commit adultery. Don’t steal. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, Love your neighbor as yourself.

The Bible is full of God’s expectations of our living our lives rooted in doing good to others, loving, sharing, helping, caring and providing. After doing this daily, we are to praise Him with thanksgiving for all that He has done and for who He is. God will then bless you and equip you to give more of yourself in service to those whom He will bless through you.

This world that we are living in would be so much better had we lived God’s way.

This was just a thought as I lay in bed thinking about my day with the volume on my television muted because there are just some days that I don't want to hear about the world in which we live.

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - A Question

Jesus looks at the Disciples and asked, does this offend you?

"When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, “Does this offend you?" (John 6:61 NKJV)

Prayer: Lord God, whatever may be causing us to turn from your gift of love, remove it. Whatever it is that is swaying our loyalty from you, remove it. Whatever it is that has us upset, insulted, displeased, hurt, wounded, disgruntled, put out, annoyed, angry, cross, irritated and resentful...remove it. In its place, give us more of YOU! Let there be no offense in us, only acceptance. In Christ Jesus, increase our faith again on today. Amen.

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Do the right thing

YOU are a very smart and thoughtful person. Whatever decisions that will be required of you today, will be made with prayer and compassion. Don't let the distractions and those who think that their daily task is to cast dispersions on another detract from you doing the right thing.

There is someone that you will encounter on today that has already been in prayer that God will put them in the presence of someone who will do the right thing.

Be that person!

Do to others as you would like them to do to you. “If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them!  And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much!  And if you lend money only to those who can repay you, why should you get credit? Even sinners will lend to other sinners for a full return. “Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for He is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.  You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. (Luke 6:31-36)

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - This Too Shall Pass

Be warned to not make permanent decisions about temporary situations.

Although your situation seems serious right now, know that when we give it to The Lord that these things too shall Pass.

Loneliness shall pass; Frustration shall pass; Discontent shall pass; Isolation shall pass; Sickness, Poverty, Addiction and Manipulation shall pass.

The issues that are keeping you Stuck. The issues that are causing you to Stumble. The issues that are Blurring your Vision...THIS TOO SHALL PASS!

"For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever." (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT)

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - A Rebel Generation

I heard a song on my XM Radio yesterday morning on my way to work. The lyrics kept playing over and over again in my head. There was a reason why this is so. The lyrics were:

"Chasing Fool's Gold...living a dream...believing things that just ain't true."

The reason that I couldn't get it out of my head is because my heart got a hold of it. I was being reminded that I have been Called by God to be an Encourager. I'm to encourage others as well as myself to trust in God; have faith in God, believe in God and to follow God. I am to tell you of His love, His forgiveness, His grace and His mercy.

There are some very near to us who are being duped, mislead and bamboozled by the lies of this world and the evil that corrupts good motives. They are being led away to be slaughtered because we know that the enemy only comes to Kill, Steal and Destroy. They have turned away from the truth and embraced falsity, they have embraced illusions of being their own God and they believe that they sustain and persevere by their own will.

God has sent me and all you who are Saved by the blood of Christ to standup and to speak out against the lies that are destroying our loved ones. He sent you and I because we at one time were also consumed by the same lies that has our families and communities in its relentless grips right now.

At times I question what I'm doing, but God quickly gets my attention...this time by a song on the radio. So, I'm encouraged to continue the assignment that God has for me.

Encouragement is not always to pick one up, but at times it will tear one down, in oder to lift them up in righteousness. Today through the Prophet Isaiah I am speaking against a Rebel generation. I am encouraging you this morning to ditch the lies and embrace the truth.

The Word of God says this morning:

So, go now and write all this down. Put it in a book So that the record will be there to instruct the coming generations, Because this is a rebel generation, a people who lie, A people unwilling to listen to anything God tells them. They tell their spiritual leaders, “Don’t bother us with irrelevancies.” They tell their preachers, “Don’t waste our time on impracticalities. Tell us what makes us feel better. Don’t bore us with obsolete religion. That stuff means nothing to us.” (Isaiah 30:8-11 The Message)

Truth is, EVERY WORD of The Lord is true and will lead you to Salvation. You are not beyond...you have not sinned so bad...you have not been removed to a place to where the love of God cannot Save YOU! If you have been told otherwise, THEN THAT'S A LIE!!

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Life

Don't miss life in an attempt to live it outside of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6 NKJV)

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Decision Time..."IF"

When we look at the word Decision, we understand that it means that a conclusion has been reached after some consideration. However, with nearly every decision, we find this two letter word "IF", which is a condition that has to be met.

Life's Decisions:

"IF" you want to succeed, then stay in school, remain informed, learn and then apply what you've learned

"IF" you want to be healthy, then eat right, sleep well and exercise

"IF" you want respect, then show respect

"IF" you invest in your future today, then you will have something to rely on tomorrow

As with everything else that we must decide on, following Jesus has a condition that must be met.

Jesus said "IF" you want to be my Disciple....not that you have to be, but "IF" you want to be, THEN this is what you must do...TAKE UP YOUR CROSS AND FOLLOW ME! (Luke 9:23 NKJV)

You see, Jesus leaves the most important decision that is to be made in this life and for all eternity up to us! How awesome of a responsibility right? Our Lord truly has given us the authority to decide our own outcome. The Word of The Lord says:

"IF" anyone keeps my word, he will never see death."

"IF" you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

"IF" my people which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

"IF" you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

"IF" you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

"IF" God is for us, who can be against us?"

The Decision to change the course of your life is yours today "IF" you choose to change it. The Decision to be freed from the grip of sinfulness is yours today "IF" you choose to be free. The Decision to choose life in Christ Jesus is yours today "IF" you want it!

The Decision is yours...not Mom and Dad's; this Decision is not your spouse's or your children; it is not your Pastor's or your buddy's...NO, IT'S YOURS!

One day I decided that "IF" I ever wanted to truly live my life the way that it was meant to be lived, then I would have to deny myself (my own selfish ambitions, pridefulness and Self-centeredness) and follow The One who is the Giver of life...Christ Jesus! BEST DECISION EVER MADE!!!

The Decision of how you will live your life and eternity is yours today "IF" you choose to make it.

Be warned that TODAY is all you have because tomorrow, as much as we think that it is, IS NOT PROMISED.

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Our Portion

For those of us who may be facing difficult situations this week...whether it be physical, financial or occupational please know that The Lord has all that you have need of.

In order to simplify what I'm saying today, may I suggest that "Portion" means enough? When you take your portion of food you take enough to fill and satisfy you. The Lord is all we need, He is enough to fill and satisfy us on every level.

It is a wonderful time in the life of those who have faith, trust and love in Christ Jesus because we know that we don't have to and that we won't need to face life's challenges out of the scarcity of who we are and out of the scarcity of what we have, because we have Jesus and He alone is our Portion...HE IS ALL THAT WE EVER NEED!

Prayer: Lord, in the name of Jesus, bless my brother and bless my sister with healing in their body. Provide for them where they may be lacking in finances and resources. Lift them in every low place in their life. Show favor on them on every employment application and in every workplace where there may be strife or misunderstandings. Lord, whatever the circumstances this week, we ask that you will be our Portion. We thank you and receive that Portion even now knowing that it is all that we will ever need. Amen.

"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." (Psalms 73:26 NIV)

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Come Out, Come Out Wherever You Are

Come Out! Seek help and help will immediately be given.

Come Out! Seek a new and changed life and a new and changed life you shall have.

Come Out! Tired of being confused, abused and bitter? Get away from those who are afflicting you and get with those who will assist you.

Come Out! Quit hiding in your dark places of isolation and torture; come out of the dark places of conflict and confusion; and step out of the shadows of self-inflicted bondage and step into the light of a freed life.

We too often convince ourselves that this is as good as it gets. Well, that's a lie. Sometimes what we are seeking, although it is self-destructive, is all that we have convinced ourselves that we are worthy of receiving. This is also a lie.

Instead of asking yourself about your self-worth, ask Jesus.

Come Out, Come Out Wherever You Are!

"A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment." (Proverbs 18:1 NKJV)

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Suit Up

Be warned that the more you mature in the knowledge, understanding and gain wisdom to be used in ministry, the more intense the spiritual warfare becomes against you.

The  Devil is clever and "The Battle" may not even appear to you as a battle at all. You see, Satan will watch you rise in position and in prominence and he will even let you have growth and stability over a period of time. But just when you have "ALL EYES ON YOU", that's when his schemes kick in.

Please know that Satan is concerned about every confessing Christian, but he is particularly  concerned with those Christians who are sharing, teaching and reaching others for Christ Jesus and salvation. His targets are those who are impacting neighborhoods and communities; those reaching our youth; and those who are standing against social injustices and transforming lives for The Kingdom of God.

So knowing this I'm ready to "SUIT UP", not just with the typical clothing that hangs in my closet, but I'm going to "SUIT UP" with The Armor of God that I have received on my day of salvation. With God's Armor, I can stand against the schemes and attacks of the devil.

The Devil wants to use you to make a fool out of God! Satan wants nothing more than to see you reach the top so that he can watch you fall. Don't think that "You Got This", because YOU can't stand on your own against the devil, this is why God has provided you with His Armor.

Let's SUIT UP!

"Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.   And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should." (Ephesians 6:11-20 NIV)

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Stupidity

TODAY would be a good day to give up your stance on Stupidity!

STUPID, I said it and I hope this message reaches someone who KNOWS that what they are doing is STUPID. Yeah, they know it yet they continue to do it...that's why it's STUPID!

"Always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth." (2 Timothy 3:7 NIV)

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - To be Chosen is much more than a Privilege

I thank God that I'm Saved! However, I must not allow myself to be duped into becoming comfortable and complacent in MY salvation and MY liberty and MY inheritance and MY crown and MY place in the Kingdom. Yes it's true that I'll receive all of these and more, but while I'm still here I must realize that being God's Chosen is much more than a privilege it's a responsibility!

We get to caught up on the privilege of being God's people and we overlook or perhaps even neglect our responsibility as Christians. You see, I have a responsibility to live according to God's Word. I have a responsibility to share God's Word. I have a responsibility to love God's people!

Yes, it is a privilege but this privilege is extended to all who receive and accept it. It is my responsibility to make the receiving and acceptance possible by presenting God's Word and loving God's people as they grow in the knowledge and understanding of who He is to them and who they are in Him.

What a Mighty Privilege with such an Awesome Responsibility!

"Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away." (1 Peter 5:2-4)

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - ONE DAY!!

Sometimes the struggle has been too hard and the pain overbearing. I have experienced loss and I have gone through Hell. Many nights I've tossed and turned and there were mornings I stood in the shower longer than I had need of so that others wouldn't see my tears.

But Oh one day, I'm going to leave THIS PLACE! "THIS PLACE" that I had found myself had its share of fears, insecurities, jealously, disappointments and hurts!

But Oh one day, I'm going to come into the knowledge and revelation that God has a blessing with my name on it.

Oh one day, I'm going to realize that God wants to restore what has been lost.

Oh one day, I will understand that God wants to repair what's been broken.

Oh one day, I will accept the fact that God wants to seal every breach.

Oh one day, I will know that God wants to fill every emptiness.

Oh one day, my ears will become attentive to hear God say "come" when all others says go.

Oh one day, I will stand in the confidence that God says "yes" when the world says no.

Oh one day, I am going to tell others how God forgives while others condem.

Oh one day, I'm going to give a testimony about how God gave me joy for my sorrows.

BUT OH ONE DAY HALLELUJAH, not too long ago, I heard the Word of God. Oh it was a great day on that day that I placed my hand into God's Hand. Oh on that day, I surrendered and received all at once! Oh on that day, I  was released from evil and arrested by love! Oh on that day, I died and then was reborn!

On that day, I knew in my heart and spirit that...

One day, I'm going to preach His Word! One day, I'm going to teach His Promises! One day, I'm going to make my parents proud! One day, I'm going to make my family happy! One day, I'm going to share God's Word on Facebook, Twitter, Blog Sites, Google+, Instagram, Email, Messenger, Text Messaging, the Workplace, the Ball Fields, the Pulpit and on the Commuter Bus!!!!

THAT DAY IS TODAY! Let it be known that today, I will not and cannot stop. Today, I'm going to tell you all about Jesus Christ The Lord.

TODAY, I'm coming for you...you to whom I have been sent to share and make known The Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “TODAY, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts... but exhort one another daily, while it is called “TODAY,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." (Hebrews 3:7-8,13 NKJV) Amen!

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - "Go your way; your son lives"

Let me tell you about a man who has not been mentioned as a Christian, has not been to a church service but was a man of means and authority. Yet we hear of this man walking some 20 miles to seek Jesus because this man has a serious concern...his son is dying.

Now I'm sure that He has tried everything that he could. He probably brought his son to the best doctors, had access to the latest and greatest equipment of that time, and would indeed spend his wealth for the healing of his son...but his son is still dying.

However, someone in his life, perhaps a family member, a friend or a coworker told him about Jesus. He heard about this man who could perform the miraculous. This man Jesus has healed the blind, the lame walked, the deaf could hear and Evil spirits were being cast out!

So he leaves the bedside of his dying son uncertain if his son will still be alive whenever he returns. His heart aches and his heart is broken over the condition of his son. He sets out to find this man Jesus with the weight of the world on his shoulders. He's tried everything else and he has tried everyone else...time is running out.

When the man finally finds Jesus, he begged Him to come heal his son who was close to death. Jesus replied, "Unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders, you will never believe." Persistent, the man says again to Jesus, "Sir, come down before my child dies." Jesus replied, "Go your way; your son lives."

The man took Jesus at His Word and simply departed. He didn't ask another question and he didn't force Jesus to accompany him back to his home, he had no magical elixir, no pills or any sort of remedy for his son. All he had was FAITH...ALL HE DID WAS BELIEVED.

Application: What are YOU willing to do for YOUR family? Our children are dying in our streets and in our very homes every day. You've tried counseling, therapy and intervention but the issues persist. Your friends can't help and no amount of money can chase away the illness, the drugs or the lifestyle that our children are being consumed by.

Now, you have heard about this man Jesus. Will you seek Him to heal the premature death that is all around us? Will you seek Him to get our kids off of the streets and off of drugs? Will you seek Him with your whole heart for any situation that you or your loved ones are facing on today?

Why this guy and why this post? This story allows us to know that miracles do happen. This story shows that Jesus has compassion for both the Sinner and the Saint. This story shows the supremacy of Christ over every disease, every disorder and every sickness. This story is not about this man nor is it about us...it's ALL ABOUT JESUS and His perfect love for all who seek Him.

The takeaway is that we don't have to travel 20 miles on foot, we just need to seek Jesus with sincere hearts right now and right where we are.  When we do, watch for the move of God in our life and the lives of our loved ones.

"Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives!” Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” So the father knew that it  was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” And he himself believed, and his whole household." (John 4:50-53 NKJV)

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Influence

Let's be real and let's also keep it simple. Everyone can be and everyone has been influenced in their lives. The issue at hand is, were we positively influenced or negatively influenced?

The difference...

Positive influences bring integrity, relationships, trust, well being and loyalty

Negative influences are contradicting, combative, condescending, manipulative and betraying

We have been warned by our parents. We have learned from the church. We have received council from our elders and our teachers. Yet we still give our attention, time and ultimately our very identity over to those fools whose only intention in life is to drag us down with them; those fools who would like nothing more than to ruin our name and our reputations; those fools who will suck the life out of us all the while smiling in our faces and giving us a "High-5".

Why are we so easily influenced by evil, yet we find boredom with RIGHT LIVING? Something is terribly wrong when we seek destruction instead of seeking our destiny.

Quit listening to foolishness. Stop and evaluate who it is that is speaking in your life. Wise council will build us up, while foolishness will tear us down.

"Go from the presence of a foolish man, When you do not perceive in  him the lips of knowledge." (Proverbs 14:7 NKJV)

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - This is Only Temporary

I am here to serve notice that what you see now is not the entire picture. What you see now is nothing but the preview and you are gonna have to stay tuned-in to see how this entire thing plays out.

Say this with me, "God is turning things around in my life; God is working it out for my good; and God is about to shower me with favor, blessings and increase".

Life may have gotten you on yesterday, but today you shall rise. You may have hid in the shadows before, but today you shall stand boldly in the brilliance of The One whom you serve and in the confidence of whose you are. Yeah, we will finish stronger than we started as that was then and this is now. Some around you gave too much credit to the temporary and have given no credit to the eternal...an awful mistake on their  part because we're about to make a COME BACK; were about to BRAKELOOSE and BRAKE OUT!

Again, "THIS" was only temporary!

Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. (Micah 7:8 NIV)

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Triumphant

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ. (2 Corinthians 2:14a)

It's not that we have to be puffed up, arrogant or braggadocious. No need to be labeled when we are just being who we are meant to be.

So, get over your jealousy, name calling and biting words. It is what it is...GOD'S PEOPLE ARE TRIUMPHANT IN CHRIST JESUS! There is nothing that you can do about it except to accept Christ for yourself and experience this triumph for yourself.

You see, we aren't arrogant, we're confident!

Oh BTW, triumph is so much more than victory or winning. When you triumph, you come out of the struggle with MORE than you you had before you entered the struggle. Hallelujah!

JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - THAT THING and THOSE THINGS

God woke me up this morning so that you and I could talk about THAT THING that keeps you concerned. You know THAT THING that keeps you up at night; THAT THING that occupies your thoughts and hinders your progress; THAT THING that you would rather not tell anyone else about; THAT THING that frightens you, worries you and bothers you. THOSE THINGS that has a hold on you, THOSE THINGS that are pulling you down and THOSE THINGS that are wearing you out. THOSE THINGS that you thought that you dealt with but are now showing up again.

THESE THINGS, although they may appear insurmountable and overwhelming and to be truthful, you may even be feeling hopeless right now because THESE THINGS are present in your life today, can be defeated right now, this very instant and taken from you when you call on the name of Jesus!  At the very mention of His name, demons tremble, every knee must bow and every tongue must confess that Jesus is Lord!

Jesus - "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence." (Colossians 1:15-18 NKJV)

Jesus is IN ALL and He is ABOVE ALL. So, THAT THING and THOSE THINGS are really NOthing with Jesus as your Lord and Savior...just call on His name and watch your deliverance take place!
