Just because you changed doesn't mean that God changed! If He Called you, you're STILL Called; if He's  gifted you, you're STILL gifted. God hasn't changed His mind about you...He's going to use you for the purpose in which he created you for. Don't believe me, ask Jonah who tried to run from his Calling; so you say that you drink, ask Noah; been in prison, ask Paul and Silas; sleeping around, ask Rahab; committed adultery, ask David; bullied other people, ask Paul and if your a thief; simply look at the man on the cross who never did anything good...except believe (which we're all Called and purposed for) and today he is in Paradise!

If He's created you with something in mind, then He won't create and then change His mind!

Just like a GPS, the route may change, but the destination remains the same!

God's Way

Monday's Meditation: God ALWAYS shows us the way!

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left. (Isaiah 30:21 NKJV)

Don't second guess Him and go another way.

YOU Say I'm Weak, But I Say, "Keep Watching!!!"

Be careful of YOUR perception in MY situation because when I appear to be at my weakest in this life, thats actually when I'm made stronger! There is absolutely no chance of failure with God!

Jesus says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (II Corinthians 12:9-10 NKJV)

"To Do" List

Today's, Tomorrow's and each Tomorrow's afterwards "To Do" list contains only one task...

"And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." (Mark 16:15-16 NKJV)

I'm not receiving mixed messages and I'm not confused as to the Calling on my life. The task is clearly given and clearly received. Now, on to my "To Do" List!

I Will NOT Be Mastered!

“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything. (1 Corinthians 6:12 NIV)

There is no justifying your actions, no matter how emphatic you state your case! You are the exact image of whom you serve and no amount of costumes or masks can hide your true allegiance.

Note, if you are popping pills, smoking dope, drinking to get drunk, lured by pornography or consumed with jealousy, etc...then you are NOT in control of your life, the Devil is your master and it is he who controls your actions!

Please know that the Devil has already been defeated and you no longer have to be a victim of his entrapment, there is a way out. Give your issues, your problems, the drugs, whatever is mastering you to Jesus. He will take you to a NEW HIGH and remove the grips and vices of this world from you. It is not a battle that you need to fight, Christ has already won and has made a way for you to be victorious...even right now!

Make the declaration today that, "I WILL NOT BE MASTERED!"

You're Already Free!

The only part of the Bible that works is the part you know about.

"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32 NKJV)

MERCY, PEACE and LOVE

MERCY is God's undeserving favor on us. PEACE is the state of a person who rests in God completely for salvation and protection. The spiritual result of mercy and peace is love. LOVE is a response to God's work toward Him and others around us.

MERCY might be seen looking up, PEACE looking inward, and LOVE looking outward.

Have a weekend filled with God's MERCY, PEACE and LOVE!

STAY ON THE PATH!

We're doing a  "New Thing"; "We are being Called to do things differently"; It's time to reform the church; and It's time to "do church" differently, etc...these quaint sayings and many more like these, perhaps we have heard in the church or we have convinced ourselves that if these don't happen, then we won't go to the Church.

All this talk of reformation and newness is only making alternate pathways that we do not need to be on. We are creating our own crossroads and then being confused when confronted with which direction to go. Look at what God says!

Thus says the Lord : “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, "We will not walk in it." (Jeremiah 6:16 NKJV)

God tells us the way to go, but we have answered "No". I pray that we get on the path that God has established that we walk and that we quit thinking up and trying new ways to get what He has already provided. We're only slowing ourselves down by traveling alternate paths, hoping to arrive at the same destination. Our ways will never lead us to where God is taking us.

STAY ON THE PATH!!

Be Someone to Somebody

God is bringing to YOU, those who need to know His love, grace and acceptance. He wants YOU to be the one to be supportive, compassionate and understanding. It's not about your words, your charisma or your money, but it is about time and presence.

Please know that people really want to know that they matter and that they're accepted. God sent Jesus because people do matter and because they are accepted.

Today, may YOU be used to make a significant difference and impact on a decision that may be teetering between giving up or looking up!

It is my prayer that YOU encourage somebody today to look up...God is still in the miracle business!

Do YOU have time to share YOUR presence with those that God will send to YOU today?

Again, Be someone to somebody!

ALL THINGS!

I can do (not many, not some or almost or nearly), but I can do ALL THINGS in Christ who strengthens me. Yeah, that's worth repeating,  ALL THINGS in Christ who strengthens me! Although it sounds simple right now as I say it, to live it is something else.

Today and for each tomorrow in our future, KNOW that ALL THINGS are possible in Christ Jesus...we have to get that in our spirit!

Young folk, Don't discount old age as God used Old Folks to birth a New Thing!!!

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord  appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.” Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations. No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Then God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall  be her name. And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be a  mother  of nations; kings of peoples shall be from her.” Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, “Shall a  child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a  child? ” (Genesis 17:1-7, 15-17 NKJV)

Here Am I...

Starting now, and for the next 24 hours, I will have done a Devotional study, a Sunday School lesson, a preached Word at the Prison and a Monday night Bible Study. Ready, Set, Go!!!

I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8 NKJV)

Run to The Throne

Need help? Need a friend? Need someone who you can trust with your deepest secrets? Need to confide in someone late in the midnight hour, early in the morning or at noonday without wondering if you are disturbing them or if they're available?

May I suggest that you RUN TO THE THRONE instead of to a phone!

"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16 NKJV)

Just Pray

The power of prayer is that even in the smallness of our requests, God still gives us more than we can ever think or that we can ever imagine!

He takes our prayer, adds His power; His plan for our life; and His purpose for our life and gives us far more than we have asked.

So all we need to do is pray! Again just pray.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV)

Listening

How are you listening to what God's Word is saying to you?

There are actually two kinds of Listeners:

First, there is the Purposeful Listener who accepts, moves and acts purposely on what he or she hears. This person responds both in word and deed and thirsts for the edification and equipping for ministry that God’s Word richly supplies.

Second, there is the Passive Listener. These are those who are excited in the moment about what they hear but never embrace the true essence of the life changing and life sustaining truth of The Word. They like the parts that speak of plenty, prosperity and healing but they are looking beyond the "Blesser" and only seeing the blessing. The Passive Listener doesn't retain what they have heard but it goes in one ear and out of the other.

I pray that today that we may all be Purposeful Listeners and not only hear The Word, but be Doers of The Word.

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. (James 1:22-25 NIV)

THAT YOU MAY KNOW...

Salvation, it's not a feeling, it's a FACT!

"And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to YOU WHO BELIEVE in the name of the Son of God, THAT  YOU MAY KNOW THAT YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, and that you may continue  to believe in the name of the Son of God." (I John 5:11-13 NKJV)

"Double Threat"

I want to live my life in such a way that it would be a "Double Threat" to the enemy.

First, of course and of the utmost importance,  I want to please God; pleasing God frustrates and infuriates Satan. 

Second, I want to be so dangerous to the enemy, that when I die, all of Hell will rejoice that I'm no longer in the fight!!

It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet  of deer, And sets me on my high places. He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great. You enlarged my path under me, So my feet did not slip. I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; Neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed. I have wounded them, So that they could not rise; They have fallen under my feet. For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me. (Psalms 18:32-39 NKJV)

God's Protection

Many of us live oblivious to the hand of God on our lives and His protection for our lives. Did you know that He protected you a million times yesterday; a million times the day before that; and even right now He's protecting you?

Those who trust in God are like Zion Mountain: Nothing can move it, a rock-solid mountain you can always depend on. Mountains encircle Jerusalem, and God encircles his people— always has and always will. (Psalm 125:1-2 MSG)

SEPARATE YOURSELF!

SEPARATE YOURSELF!!

God won't pull you out of anything that you're not ready to come out of!!

Aren't you Sick and Tired of being addicted, hungover, "easy" or a Thug? Separate Yourself...YOU have to want to do it...not me wanting you to and not somebody else wanting you to, YOU HAVE TO WANT TO COME OUT OF THAT MESS...SEPARATE YOURSELF!!

And Joshua said to the people, Sanctify yourselves [that is, separate yourselves for a special Holy purpose], for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you. (Joshua 3:5 AMP)
