OWN IT - DON'T RELY ON OTHERS!!!

It's truly our choice to continue in sin or live a forgiven and abundant life in Christ Jesus. Seriously, it's not like we are unaware of our choices. I'm just here today to tell you to OWN IT! My prayer is that you choose Christ which is choosing life; thereby, you escape death.

“Every soul—man, woman, child—belongs to me, parent and child alike. You die for your own sin, not another’s. The soul that sins is the soul that dies. The child does not share the guilt of the parent, nor the parent the guilt of the child. If you live upright and well, you get the credit; if you live a wicked life, you’re guilty as charged." (Ezekiel 18:4‭,20 MSG)

Gifted and Confident, but NEVER Conceited - Yeah "Me"!!!

I know "Me", yet God STILL uses "Me" in spite of "Me". Glory to God!!

A Servant of God can assume no greater dignity and authority than what God has granted him. I am humbled, grateful and reverential to His assignment to preach, teach, reach, encourage and intercede for my brothers and sisters.

Yeah "Me"...I'm totally astonished, amazed and awed that He chose "Me". God will get the Glory out of our lives, no matter what you've done or what you haven't done. I'm a witness!

“A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven." (John 3:27 NKJV)

The Proximity of Purpose!

Oftentimes on our Christian journey we can become frustrated and isolated to the point that we begin to consider our worth, our dedication and we question our purpose.  If you feel that this is speaking to you, then please allow this message to encourage you.

Our immediate purpose is but a stepping stone towards God's ultimate purpose. Each action that we take and also each plot of the enemy to disrupt the plans of God,  is known by God and He will ultimately take what the devil meant for evil and will turn it around for our good. We get frustrated in what we're currently dealing with and we become so emerged in the "now", that we fail to see the whole picture. We doubt our ability to fulfill our immediate purpose and when we do this, we will fail to experience God's ultimate purpose.

Consider Joseph in the OT. His brothers became jealous, sold him into slavery and eventually he found himself in prison. Joseph, I would imagine, was totally frustrated and confused to what his purpose was supposed to be. But God's ultimate purpose was to allow all of these events to take place so that Joseph would eventually be in the position in Egypt to bring the nation of Israel into the land to escape the famine.

God is working out His ultimate purpose in our lives. We must look beyond our current issues by asking God to reveal His ultimate purpose. What we are doing now is but a stepping stone towards something far greater. Trust God to work in us while we're operating in our immediate purpose, so that He would have us in position to realize and carry out His ultimate purpose.

So our proximity to our immediate purpose must not mask God's ultimate purpose, for He who promised is faithful.

“Then his brothers also went and fell down before his face, and they said, “Behold, we are your servants.” Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” (Genesis‬ ‭50:18-20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Proud and Blessed to be IHS!

This is my life work: helping people understand and respond to this Message. It came as a sheer gift to me, a real surprise, God handling all the details. When it came to presenting the Message to people who had no background in God’s way, I was the least qualified of any of the available Christians. God saw to it that I was equipped, but you can be sure that it had nothing to do with my natural abilities. And so here I am, preaching and writing about things that are way over my head, the inexhaustible riches and generosity of Christ. My task is to bring out in the open and make plain what God, who created all this in the first place, has been doing in secret and behind the scenes all along. Through followers of Jesus like yourselves gathered in churches, this extraordinary plan of God is becoming known and talked about even among the angels! All this is proceeding along lines planned all along by God and then executed in Christ Jesus. When we trust in him, we’re free to say whatever needs to be said, bold to go wherever we need to go. So don’t let my present trouble on your behalf get you down. Be proud! (Ephesians 3:7‭-‬8‭, ‬8‭-‬13 MSG)

Think Again!

There is nothing in the world as futile as being religious yet lost, maintaining a form of religion but lacking in faith. If you think you can be a discerning believer without spending time with God – think again. If you think you can be a woman of God or a man of God without studying His Word – think again. If you think you can experience God’s blessings without living in faithful obedience to Him – think again.

Gideon's Problem is Our Problem!

God isnt put off because of our depleted or defeated life. God is pleased to find those of us in our depleted state, because God can always do something with depleted people. God sees our potential. He sees what we can be, not what we are. He sees what we can accomplish by depending on His resources instead of our own human inadequacy.

Can God do anything with you? You better believe that He can! What makes us feel that He can't is our worldly self-image and perceptions that we place upon ourselves. Our worldly self-image is utterly false. A godly self-image says (along with the apostle Paul), “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Nothing is impossible for those who live in obedience and dependence on the power of God.

Gideon's problem was lack of competence and confidence. Gideon had a "Who me?" mentality. Those things that are most intimidating are those things that we convince ourselves that we cannot do or obtain.

God chose a weak and frightened man, a man who was hiding from the Midianites, a man who had very little self-esteem and self-confidence – and God gave this man a vision of what he could become: a mighty man of valor. Why did God choose Gideon? He chose this man specifically so that the people of Israel would know that it was the hand of God that delivered them, not human brains or brawn.

God can work miracles through you if you feel powerless. If you go to God and say, “Lord, I have nothing to offer but my obedience,” then watch out! You will be amazed to see what He can do with you.

The Lord is My Peace!

His Word says that He will keep me in perfect Peace. He has ordained Peace for me, to be with me, to be in my mind and in my thoughts. Yes, the Peace of God that surpasses all understanding!  It's this kind of Peace that sustains me!

Question Asked - Answer Given!

“What must I do to be saved? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house.” ‭‭(Acts‬ ‭16:30-32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Chumps, Whimps and Weaklings!

Many people make excuses as to why they can’t be champions, winners, or world-changers. They think they’re not smart enough, spiritual enough, strong enough, or liked enough to be great. But nothing could be further from the truth. God loves to form winners out of chumps, wimps, and weaklings. Paul said it best: “God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong” (1 Corinthians 1:27).

Church, not the building but the people!

Success is often determined by being on the right journey with the right people who have a like passion and purpose.

Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. (Amos 3:3; I Corinthians 1:10 NKJV)

Be Authentic - Be a Child of The King in 2017!

Authenticity means letting go of who others want you to be, so you can be who you really are. In other words, what you see is what you get!
