| Always in the "THICK of THINGS" with you |
This photo just ministered to me this morning! Sometimes we need a “pick me up” and today was one of those days! It’s not that we doubt who we are, who our God is, what He says or who He says that we are…but there are times that we just need to be encouraged when we are going through some things!
Well, my encouragement came after I sent my brother a message to minister to me this morning. He never called, but I found myself looking at pictures and reflecting back on a retreat that we had. I never paid attention but now it is very clear of how God works and how God works through his ministers.
After looking at this photo and remembering/reflecting on things that have transpired in the past, I found that Ken has constantly been ministering to me and my family…him and his wife Paula have been a blessing to me and my family all along. Without their support and understanding, somethings would’ve fallen short, fallen through and just plain…FALLEN! But, here we are today, all is intact, all is in order and all worry and doubt are no longer before me.
The revelation of this picture is that of Jesus Christ. We may think that we are in the “THICK OF THINGS”, that there is no way out; but when we look up from our situation and circumstances; when we take our eyes off of ourselves, there He is…Jesus, in the “THICK OF THINGS”, right there with us!
When I see Ken in this picture, it reminds me that he loves me, that he’s there for me and that he doesn’t mind how “THICK” things are…he’s in it with me!
Thanks Bro for being there, staying there and guiding through the “THICK” times! Hmmmmm…BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER!
Thank you Jesus for the Calling on Ken’s life, the Word that you have given him and your Divine Agenda that you have predestined and ordained…that we would walk this journey of Faith, Hope and the Love of Christ together!
Who has Christ placed in your life? Have you looked up from your situation and noticed “who” is in the “THICK OF THINGS” with you? You may be surprised that this person may have been there all along!
