Monday's Meditation: Tonight I'm shifting Bible Study from "Why We Go to Church", which has been a rich study over the last 12 weeks. Tonight we'll flip the script and begin looking at "Why We DON'T Go to Church?"
Please consider sharing your thoughts on why either yourself or share your perception of other's reasons for (1) being previously a church goer, but no longer attends; (2) those of us that only attend during special events, but will not commit to becoming a regular attendee; (3) and those of us who have never stepped through the doors of the Church.
How can Church be "The Church" in your community to meet the needs of the residents, offer fellowship, and be more relevant in your neighboorhoods? What are people looking for in a Church... what are their expectations?
Has your church experienced a decline and if so, what would be your observation as to why?
Lastly, what can YOU "do" about the decline?
When considering these questions, please know that I'm referring to the physical and the spiritual aspects of church.
