JUST ENOUGH for The Journey - Forgiveness Even for Fools

Now before you jump all over me, see and hear who The Lord considers to be a Fool. It is the one who CONTINUES in their transgressions.

In comparison, a Fool is like a Alcoholic or Drug Addict. Although the truth about alcohol and drugs are well known, the Addict CONTINUES to take these toxins into their bodies. Eventually, their bodies become afflicted. Their cognitive thought ability is greatly depleted,  which leads them to even more bad decisions. Then their dreams and desires fade away as their only goal is to achieve another level of "highness". Lastly, they withdrawal and shutdown...sick, diseased and no self-esteem.

To put it simply...Fools act foolishly in committing foolishness!

There are numerous types of foolishness. I shared only one example. We are all guilty of foolishness in one way or the other (self examination time). Yes, I also fall in a category of being a Fool when I continue to do things that God has clearly forbidden for me to do.

BUT GOD FORGIVES! In Psalms 107:20 we are told that, "God sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."

Not only will God forgive us of all of our foolishness, but He will also heal our ravished and sick bodies; He will heal our hurts and issues; and He will heal our sin-sick soul. He doesn’t stop there...you see, when we call on Him, He'll do all of that AND He will rescue us from the grips of our enemy; He will destroy the strongholds that have been placed on you; and He will deliver you from the gates of Hell and He will place you in Heaven to be with Him in glory.

From one Fool to another, please read just a bit more. Hey it's not too much, but it is JUST ENOUGH for The Journey!

"Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted. Their soul abhorred all manner of food, And they drew near to the gates of death. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord  for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with rejoicing." (Psalms 107:17-20 NKJV)
